Hi, my name is Lucas Slaats, and with Lux Studio, I create high-quality product videos for consumer goods I collaborate with both local and international brands from my studio in Uden, The Netherlands. I also offer creative support to video and marketing agencies that prefer to outsource professional product videos to specialists. After an initial introduction and concept approval, you send the product to my studio, and I take care of the rest. This way, you can focus on your own expertise.

Camera
The trusted A7SII is an indispensable part of my arsenal. Combined with slow motion, macro lenses, and advanced autofocus, I can create shots that would otherwise be impossible. For ultra-slow-motion shots, I can rent a Chronos or Freefly camera if needed.
Motion Control
I have a motion control system, consisting of a Ronin RS3 and a YC Onion slider. With this setup, I create dynamic shots that bring your product to life and capture the viewer's attention. For larger productions, it’s also possible to rent a robotic arm and its accompanying setup, for example, for high-speed slow-motion shots.
Lighting Equipment
With a wide range of lighting equipment, I have everything needed to replicate beautiful diffuse, high-contrast, or other desired lighting styles. This includes a Nanlite 720 Forza, Amaran 300c, translucent diffusion paper, light bounces, and negative fills.
VFX
Working with a green or blue screen offers many advantages. It allows you to give product shots multiple purposes and animate them in different videos. I also work with a large LCD screen on which any background or environment can be simulated, in combination with set materials.
Anything is possible
Sometimes, extra specialized equipment or a larger set is needed beyond the capabilities of my small, yet cozy studio. Everything can be rented and planned, so we can fulfill all your wishes together.
